Get creative and discover the magic of risograph prints this summer with a series of workshops inspired by the special exhibitions and permanent collection of Phoenix Art Museum. Pachanga Press is a risograph printmaking studio that produces vibrant, deeply saturated posters, comics, and zines for local makers, located at Nurture House in downtown Phoenix.
Each participant will receive an edition of 10 risograph prints of the artwork they create during the workshop.
June 26: Make a fashion collage inspired by the principles behind Rudi Gernreich’s designs, such as bold patterns, body positivity, and genderless clothing.
July 17: Make a two-toned print inspired by the qilin, a mythical creature with hooves, scales, and a horn.
August 14: Make a photobook inspired by the work of social documentary photographer Marion Palfi.
Education programming at Phoenix Art Museum is made possible in part with the support of the William Randolph Hearst Endowed Fund for Education Programs.
