In celebration of the 550th Anniversary of his birth, wehonor Guru Nanak (1469-1539), who was the founder and First Guru of the Sikhfaith. Sikhism is the world’s fifthlargest religion, currently with over 25 million adherents. Learn more about the life, words and travelsof this historical figure whose principles resonate globally today.
This event complements the exhibition Guru Nanak: Founderof Sikhism on view at Phoenix Art Museum, August 17, 2019 – March 29, 2020in The Khanuja Family Sikh Heritage Gallery.
