Family Workshops are hands-on experiences for children and adults to explore the Museum together! Our Museum Educators will guide your family in looking closely in the galleries and making your own work of art to take home.
In this workshop, we will examine the vibrant murals of Teotihuacan. Please choose between one of two sessions. The morning session is designed with the learning needs of children 4-7 years old in mind while the afternoon session is geared towards learners ages 8-12. Younger and older siblings are welcome at either session.
-- 10:30am (ages 4-7): This 90 minute workshop will include conversation in the galleries, story time, and an age-appropriate painting activity.
-- 2:00pm (ages 8-12): This two hour workshop will include extended conversation in the galleries and an age-appropriate painting activity.
Connect with colleagues from across disciplines to explore the resources Phoenix Art Museum offers to the higher education community. Have a delicious snack while you brainstorm with colleagues, learn how to incorporate interdisciplinary, Museum-based activities into your curriculum.
