Lead by Loretta Tedeschi-Cuoco: Fashion Illustrator, Designer, Product Developer, Educator @art_ltc
Have you ever wondered how a fashion illustration happens? Here’s your opportunity to explore how it’s done. In this fast-paced setting, you will draw from a live fashion model wearing different “looks”, demonstrating how Antonio Lopez worked in his own studio. Loretta Tedeschi-Cuoco will lead you through the process of transforming the live model into an elongated, stylized fashion sketch. A handout will be provided to help you understand the “roadmap” of the figure. Follow Tedeschi-Cuoco’s demos and the illustration on your handout, to create your own quick fashion illustrations from the model. All art supplies will be provided by the Museum, so just bring your passion for fashion and be ready to have fun! Coffee with light refreshments will be provided courtesy of Arizona Costume Institute. Workshop is open to all skill levels, no prior experience needed, for ages 16 years and up.
Check-in is at 10am in the Museum lobby. Workshop begins at 10:15 a.m. Follow the workshop signs through the Dorrance Sculpture Garden to workshop in Singer Hall.
